This is my long-term objective. I'm not sure if I ever expect to see it but if I do then I certainly expect to be old.

The system concentrates power in the hands of the national government, so we probably need internal checks to stop the national government getting out of hand. I'm tempted to suggest proportional representation and the requirement for a parliamentary supermajority to pass legislation or seriously interfere with a sub-unit. Of course, the more features of the government I ask them to change, the older I'll get before it happens.
